To celebrate New Years Eve, I'm going to share a poem with you all. I wrote this months ago when I watched my friend dancing at Salsa night. It's fitting for the moment. Enjoy your New Years.

Lone Star

I can feel the music
singing to my soul
I'm all alone
But I dance with Love
She is the only one for me

I dance all alone
Lost in the lights
Flowing with the beats
Moved with the rhythm
My soul expressed

In the sea of people
We become a chorus of movement
I dance among joy
I feel the love
And hope you feel it too

We mix among each other
Giving and taking
Until the right match
Lights souls aflame
The passion, the fire, the love

The night is over
We all part with smiles
Laughter in our hearts
And light in our souls
My body still moves
And I continue to dance alone
