yay for it's 4:30 in the morning again!
so i went out and got a new tattoo today. it's my first color tattoo and i sort of have mixed feelings about how it came out. i like it, but when it's all healed i think i'm going to go to a different artist to have some of the lines changed a bit. my arm is way swollen. it's my first tattoo on my arm so i don't know if that's normal. i have brands on my arms and those swelled insanely.. but i think that's just a burn thing.
anyhow, it's a pretty little traditional style bird with the words carpe diem underneath. mostly, i wanted to get the words carpe diem on my wrist. i just don't think i've been seizing enough of each day. i'd post a picture of it but i seem to have bad picture juju here on sg. there's a hidious phone camera pic of it in my pics file, though, if anyone is dying to check it out.
tonight my friends lindsey and aaron and i snuck into popejoy hall performing arts center at 1am so aaron could play the grand piano. aren't we just sly little delinquents? aaron has learned how to play tool's schizm on the piano. too spiffy for words.
