Yeah, there aren't many people as obsessed with Nirvana as I was (ok, well, am). S'ok.
Free wireless, no matter how weak the signal, makes me smile.
I am so totally in love with my new apartment. It's fucking awesome. As are my amazing friends, who have been fucking incredible the last few days. From the third floor to the third floor... and remember, in Chicago we do floors the European way, ie, ground floor, then first, second, third. So every single muscle in my body is aching, including ones that I didn't know existed.
I bought a bed today. Fun fact - all my life, aside from one year living in a furnished apartment in Berlin, my freshman year dorm room, and the place I've subletted the last year - I have slept on a futon or on a mattress on the floor. This is the first bed I've ever owned that is an actual matress - not to mention, definitely the most expensive, and nicest mattress I've ever had - in a frame with a headboard and everything, and I'm fucking pumped. Getting it, and getting it home, was what we might euphemistically call an "adventure", but so is a lot of my life. That's just how I roll.

Action-adventure DVDs and bourbon tend to work rather well, I think.
