Pregnant ladies are funny. I haven't ever really spent a lot of time with them, but oddly enough, there are a couple of 'em doing summer seminars, so suddenly I'm around them a lot. Their bellies kinda give me the creeps (especially the way they sort of absentmindedly pet 'em), but I find it oddly amusing when they're all wacked out and hormonal, crying their eyes out and puking all the time. There's something cute about it, I dunno. I feel kinda guilty around 'em, seeing as how my life is strongly oriented towards doing things they aren't allowed to do, namely, smoking cigarettes, getting drunk, tanking up on coffee, playing contact sports, and generally being unruly and rambunctious.

I don't think pregnant ladies really get to be rambunctious.
