Thank you so much for the comments about my paintings. They're all at least a year old, most more like three. I'm feeling good, though, because I found a studio to rent about two blocks away...now all I have to do is scrape together 600 bucks for the security deposti & first months rent. Which is probably going to mean cutting out unneccesaries (like cigarettes??? shit!).
The owner of SG:Chicago is notoriously slow about approving people...I think the excuse used to be that she was in Europe for the summer...but it's not summer anymore, so who can say? It shouldn't be much longer, now. How long ago did you apply?
