Why is it that my relationships with others often seem to them to be anomalous as far as their normal interactions with people go? It's really odd. I keep hearing things like, "well, i can do that with YOU", or, "that kind of thing only happens when i'm with you". Why is that? It's really strange. I'm not entirely clear on whether or not it's a good thing.
I've started swimming again. Every day, except weekends. It works wonders. I feel so much better about the world when I get to spend an hour a day underwater. There's nothing like swimming laps to take your mind off of everything. It's fantastic. And I have way more energy, but it's the productive, content kind, instead of the jittery goddamnit i need to get laid soon kind. Hopefully I keep it up...
Lately I've been really into trying out recipes from Claudia Roden's Middle Eastern cookbook. So far, they have turned out to be incredibly delicious, and very simple to make. Highly recommended.

i finally got to swim this past weekend for the first time in a long time. nothing is more rejuvinating and relaxing
