C.U.D.G.E.L., aka, Urban Golf Chicago, was a huge success.

I didn't actually play - my job was to sit in the bar at the end, get drunk, and collect scorecards and bribes. Much fun was had. Much liquor was consumed. The day before, I put in a few hours work spray-painting t-shirts, which was a blast, despite the fact that I am still covered in paint.

Other than that, working on papers, feeling despondent. C'est la vie. The beat goes on, and goes on beating me. Less than a month until I leave for Europe. I find this oddly terrifying. I'm really not looking forward to going, at all. I'm sure it'll be fun, I'll have a good time, but still, I'm really tired of leaving every summer. At the same time, I'm yearning to go on a roadtrip. Bundle of contradictions what what?

Fun fact about me: I tend to be largely unaware of my body and what it's doing. And it does some weird things when I'm not paying attention. I have a lot of bizarre habitual mannerisms that I'm not really aware of. Just now, for instance, I caught myself contemplatively kissing my upper arm. Yeah.
