Oooof.
So apparently, I look totally wild with straight hair. People literally don't recognize me, or totally freak out, but generally love it. As the waiter at Mellow Yellow told my friends, "I thought she was cute before, but now it's like DAMN!"
Aside from the fact that there's no way in hell that I'm gonna spend 90 minutes on my hair on any kind of regular basis, I've gotta tell ya, I like my regular crazy mess of curls more. This straight hair is kind of entertaining, but really, it's not me. But it is cool to see what it's like to have normal person hair, and to see what I look like as a normal girl. But I also feel like I look like every other girl walking down the street. Which, for some bizarre reason, makes me feel much less intelligent, which makes me feel less attractive. I feel attractive in that you-probably-enjoy-looking-at-me, sex object kind of way, rather than the usual I-am-certainly-the-coolest-person-you've-ever-met way. When you look like everyone else, you don't really feel like you've got much of a personality, I guess.
