(Nerd) Love is a guy who will buy a copy of Heidegger's Basic Writings and sit up reading and figuring them out them alongside you until 1 am. Awww. To be fair though, the reason we had to stay up until 1 am doing it was because we had been out in the burbs with his family - and I mean parents, aunt, grandparents, etc - until 11 so that I could be properly appraised. I think I did ok though. This whole meeting the family thing is a lot less scary now that I'm the respectable young graduate student who has made something of herself rather than the chick with blue hair and lots of piercings. But in any case, we got Heidegger pretty well figured out, and then I really got it nailed down during today's lecture. So all in all, life is pretty grand.
