Starting this site to showcase artists, musicians, art shows, concerts, reviews, and all kinds of other stuff as it progresses. It'll have forums, blogs, portfolios and lots more. It should be a fun project.
I'm also designing some t-shirts. I've got a couple of ideas and drew one up in illustrator today. After I get about 10 good designs that I'm happy with, I'm going to buy a 2 color silk screen press and make some up and hopefully sell a few online.
I wrote a song last night... and almost completed the lyrics of it in one shot. This is a first. I always come up with good guitar riffs, but can never put words to it. I can't wait till I get my m-audio sound card so I can actually record this shit. And once I get that sound card, I will be able to work my magic making beats and stuff again. Another thing I haven't done in a very long time.
And I've been drawing by hand a lot lately. It's really making me more creative on the computer. I haven't drawn anything in years and actually gave away all of my pencils and art stuff, but I'm gonna go buy a new pad and some good pencils and keep working at it. I'm surprised on how good some of the stuff actually is that is coming out.
I just sat down with an idea about a weird character with a clear top of his head where u can see his brains called StreetSmarz. He's pretty cool... has no nose, wears shiny goggles, like snowboarder goggles, has a small frown and one snaggle tooth. I want to develop him more detailed so I can make a clay model of him and maybe... just maybe... make a vinyl toy out of him. That'd be awesome.
SEE... I told you the creativity is flowin over here. It's been goin alllll week. Good thing I get paid to play in photoshop all day.
