Bollocks! I've already a hangover and St. Patty's Day just started!



Someone asked why everyone feels the need to be Irish today and not celebrate it any other day...

Well... I'm Irish.. partly. I'm also a mix of German, Russian, Prussian, Scottish, Polish, English, White, White and other White. I'm sure there are very few people with a more complete mix of white than me. I guess it runs in the family to spread the seed to as many foreign countries as possible! Apparently we were pretty slutty.

Anyways... the only reason I feel the need to celebrate being Irish today is because I have the opportunity to pee green, puke green, and possibly even shit green depending on how many pitchers of beer I drink.

As for my Irish ancestors... I found out I have a King in the tree. King Robert the Bruce of Scotland (my dad's name is Bruce) who's family then moved to Northern Ireland in the 1600's. Then I guess they migrated from Ireland to the US in the 1700's and eventually President James K. Polk was born in 1795. The Polk family is on my dad's side. So I've got a king and a president in my family tree. That's pretty neat...
