Well, I finally took a pic of that skirt I made...I cut the shirt pieces out yesterday, but have yet to sew them together...I'll post the pic in a few minutes...I have to get it off the camera first...
Well, we have four kids again today, but not the same four...we have our youngest and oldest, the infant and the oldest's bestriend..who is doing a better job of watching the infant than our oldest is! lol Poor thing was screaming and crying in there a minute ago...so I went in there to see what was going on and it had nothing but a diaper on and was covered in milk...and it's freezing cold in here! Kids! Poor thing was about to freeze to death!
Well, i was working on this picture of the kids' mom yesterday and transofrming her into Satan...but I didn't save it last night before going to bed...and then our electricity went out this morning...SO...the pic is gone...and I was just finishing up the flame background too damn it! So I guess I'll just have to start all over! HAHAHA Hey...I'm determined over here!
Okay, here are the pics of the skirt! YAY!
Here's the front...it wasn't supposed to be off center, but I messed up on the elastic top so that's how it worked out...but I think it looks really cute that way anyway! lol One of those errors that worked out well! LOL
And here's a close up of the buttons and threading...I'm just soooooo glad the thread in the sewing machine was dark blue....because I don't know how to change it out! LOL...I'm a dork! HAHA!
And here's the back. The back turned out really well as far as the elastic band and all that went. I sewed the blue material onto an existing elastic banded slip so I had to stretch out the elastic to sew the material on so that it would stretch with the slip underneath...it was a major pain in the ass, but I'm so happy with the way it turned out! Now if I can just get the top to turn out as cute! LOL
