I finished the skirt last night and I am sooooo excited about it! It turned out so cute! It doesn't lay down exactly like it's supposed to, but who cares! It's cute damn it! LOL Today I am hoping to make a cute top to go with it..just a little tank top..I've been wrorking it out in my head how to do it and I think it will work...since I have no pattern...I think I may run out of the cute little buttons I was using though...which sucks because that was the whole theme of the outfit...hmmmmm....
My oldest is on this questionaire kick right now and she's been asking me 50 million questions about myself and telling me what the result is...anyway, yesterday we found out that I am 96% feminine and only 4% masculine...which is more feminine than most women...I thought that was particularly interesting considering my hair cut at the moment and this lovely pic of me in camo's, a strap-on and holding a gun!! lol I guess this just all goes to show that it really IS what's on the inside that counts! LOL
Vanny is making me beef jerky! Mmmmmmmm....I am going on a very strict beef jerky and pepperjack cheese diet. The last time I did that I lost 16 lbs in a week. It's practically zero carbs...I can't do it longer than two weeks though before it starts making me feel week..but we're going to Colette's in a week and a half and I want to be looking my best whilst running around naked! LOL
Well, we are watching four kids today...all three of Vannys and the kids one year old step-brother...I keep calling him an infant, but technically he IS 1 yr old...or almost anyway...I think he was born in July of last year...i just remember it was when we were living in that RV..with three kids and two dogs and I was about to go crazy! And am now on prozac as a result! I also remember that Vanny's ex wanted him to be there for the birth...that was the only time I put my foot down in front of the kids..I was like not only no, but hell no! It is NOT your baby and there is no reason for you to be there! We made sure the kids were there though. ANyway, I told Vanny that one day she would expect us to watch her youngest as well...of course..I didn't think it would be so soon! She started shipping him off over here when he was about 6 months old. A part of me is like..well...this is my chance to kind of see what having a baby is like...but the other part of me is like, why the hell am I watching someone else's child (that isn't Vanny's child) and not getting paid for it again? Of course...technically it's not me that's watching him...it's our oldest...and she is getting paid to watch him....so I'm trying to look at it as though she is simply baby sitting someone's infant as a job....but WE had to go out this morning and buy a playpen to put him in! He's crawling now and my house is NOT baby proof...so I told Vanny that I didn't mind him being here as long as she got him a play pen...well, she couldn't afford one, so we had to go get one....I think I'm too nice sometimes...just way too nice for my own good....
We bought a small wading pool yesterday so we are about to head outside to set that up with a tarp over the top for shade and a nice slip n'slide out beside it...that way the kids will go outside instead of wasting the day away in the house...kids these days...when I was a kid you couldn't keep me inside during the summer! These kids won't hardly leave the house for anything though! It's either too hot or too cold...gee...they're KIDS! They're supposed to be resilient to that sort of thing!
