Well, this is the first time I've really been home this week..busy, busy, busy...and now I'm a little down...Vandilous got laid off Wednesday...they're getting rid of his positon and hiring an outside company to do his job basically...they offered him three other positions...but they're WAY more stressful AND he would have to work weekends AND 60 hours weeks sometimes...and they said he wouldn't be eligible for a pay raise until he's been there a year...it's just not worth it people...I mean, it's like...we're getting rid of your job, but you can have one of these three more stressful jobs for the same pay..we're doing you a favor..shit...Garfield's is hiring staff right now so he's thinking about trying out bartending for a while..he hasn't done that in a while..hell, it may even pay more! He's got a great personality, so he'd probably do really well tip wise....OH, and then he got thrown in jail yesterday...yep...we got a ticket a few weeks ago...see, we have this pontiac grand am that we are wanting to sell...so we never bothered to update the tags or get it insured..well one day he had to drive it for some reason...anyway, he of course got pulled over in the process and they slapped a HUGE ticket on him...well yesterday was his court date...a fucking $1200 ticket people! They kept him there until we either paid it or the office closed at which point he would have to spend the weekend in jail! SIGH....He just got paid today...it all went to pay back the friends we had to borrow that money from in order to keep my baby out of jail...and THEN we come home to the water having been shut off...I didn't even know we were behind on the damn thing..the last I heard we were all caught up on everything...time flies by WAY too fast people...WAY too fast.....oh, and don't worry..we got the water turned back on...can't live without running water!

I was so excited about going to NOLA for this meet and greet on Sunday..but now I don't know if we'll have any money to go...next Friday is Vanny's last day at work...he'll get a pay check and severence...but it's a week too late damn it...if this is all bad karma I'd like to know what the fuck one of us did! I don't remember doing anything to deserve all this shit!!

On a happier note...HOLY FUCKING HELL!! Benni & Tegan That has got to be one of the hottest sets I've ever seen! I don't even know how I missed it!
