McGill University Library has the largest three-hole punch I have ever seen. The thing is massive and from what I can tell, it's made out of rough-hewn lumber and square, drop-forged nails. To operate, it takes three strong oarsmen wearing leather tunics throwing their backs into it. That's only to punch six regular typing sheets!

rock that 3 hole pinch bizach - lol

Moving cross-continent this last week has led me to the unshakable conviction that "backing up with a trailer" should be an Olympic sport. There would be extra merit for using an overloaded European, 4-cylinder car to do it.

Here in Canada they have a generic brand named No Name, and to me, that is some funny meta. It just has that self-reflexive word-play aspect to it which makes me giggle at night when im all alone and tucked under the covers.
Certainly over time, Ill get over it, but for now, whenever I see the No Name trucks rolling down the highway, my...

I am now soo terribly sunburned. The next time I do an entire 16 hour raodtrip with the top down, sun screen will be more prominently involved.
On a less crispy note, the apartment hunt is going quite swimmingly. No leases are signed yet, but there are definitely some nice places to be had in this city.

I was in Lincoln, MI which is a SMALL ass town right around Oscoda.
After speaking with the "Customer Service" guy from Amazon dot com I am furious. I seriously doubt I can ever shop there again, and neither should anyone if this is how they stand behind their products.
So I've had my Kindle 2 since March, not even three months yet, and already the cheap white plastic case for the thing has started to crack where it...

I agree about the customer service thing. I ordered school books from there and just never received them. They said the address I provided was wrong and the books were sent back to the warehouse...NOT TRUE! They charged me more shipping to have my book sent back to me (the same address as before, mind you) I already failed the tests in that class because of no book anyway so...FAIL!
According to my friend Megan, her dad has a very dusty book by some nutty Christian Fundamentalist titled "Eighty-five Reasons the Rapture Will Come in 1985." Though she told me this years ago, I'm still giggling about it now.
All the news I need, I get from Tiger-Beat magazine.
