This is going to be a long one, I'll try to make it as coherent as possible.
Alright so I have an old friend of mine. We actually use to be best friends in middle school through the first two years of high school. A lot has changed and I can't help but ask for other people's opinion.
First of all she's not continuing her education. She just works full time. I'm not saying that's a real big problem but it really annoys me how she always says that she's going to make "big money" and that she's "SO independent". Fine she can work if she wants but she's not even trying to get more skilled to get better jobs that can pay more, know what I mean?? She's going to be one of those people who just kiss their bosses ass to gradually claim up the ladder.
She has at least stated she wants to complete a medical assistant program at some technical school. She keeps saying "Man when I get that certificate, I'll be set!" Wtf? Okay then why aren't you at least doing THAT NOW?? She says it's only a nine month program, so get it over with then geez. Oh and technically she still hasn't gotten her high school diploma because she still has debt to pay to them. How much? Only 90 bucks which I KNOW she has but instead chooses to spend on more worthless shit. To make herself seem more "independent" she's already bought herself a brand new car and has about 3 credit cards. Believe me, I'm not hating. I can afford to buy a new car too but I choose not to spend my money on new shit like that when I'm not even financially stable. It just seems so stupid to me. She's young, she's not making that much money to afford buying a new car each year. It's just like, what are you trying to prove you know? You're just fucking yourself up in the future.
Also she lives with her boyfriend. Actually, she lives in her boyfriend's parent's house.
It really pisses me off when she says she's independent because she hasn't been single since she had her first boyfriend back in Sophomore year (which I think totally fucked her forever)
When her boyfriend broke up with her about 6 months ago she called every one of us, crying her fucking eyes out. Okay fine, I understand that most likely hurt but she really needs to learn at one point or another how it feels to be dumped. He's not even a great guy, all of us pretty much despise his dumb ass. The only time she will move on is if she decides to. Whatever her boyfriends have done she follows. Her first boyfriend skipped school a lot, so then so did she. Her second boyfriend was a clingy pussy who just wanted to be with her every single waking second with her and so she allowed it. But then she realized he was a pussy and decided to cheat on him with her current boyfriend. Omg who the fuck is this girl who use to be my best friend???
I mean seriously, she doesn't realize how many times her mother called my mother crying about her behavior and how she's making the stupidest decisions!

That's why we started growing apart. I would get mad to her for doing shit that would fuck up her future and she would get mad at me for judging her. Her argument was that I was imposing my opinions on her which I realize is what I did but come on. I was just trying to help her! Our other friends have told me that they never knew why we would suddenly get into arguments back then but now they see it too.
*SIGH* Did ^that^ make any sense? I suck at writing. I always had the feeling I should look for new friends, but the problem is that I have horrible social skills. Fuck it man. I'll try one more time to talk to her and tell every thing I feel. But I'm sure she won't listen to what I have to say. She only follows what her boyfriend says and does.
I'll worry about myself from now on. Stupid bitch doesn't realize how much we actually care for her.
