"I've got something to say. I killed your baby today,"
Ok. So I didn't quite kill anyone's babies but I did follow in the footsteps ( however small those feet my be) of Mr. Glen Danzig a week or so back. Nobody on here really knows me so let me explain. I've lived in England since the tail end of 2002 and I'm set to live here until march of 06. I'm in the us air force stationed here. That said, I went to London last week and decided to visit the "LONDON DUNGEON". It had to be cool right? Centuries worth of bloody, horrible history so nasty that it was immortalized in a Misfits song. Well, it sucked. What a let down. I waited outside in the rain for 2hrs to get in, paid my 15 quid which is almost 30 bucks and then proceeded to waste 2 more hours of my life being led room to room by some really amateur 2nd rate actors wearing period costumes with some fake blood and dirt smeared on their faces. Jack the Ripper, the great fire of 1666 and even the plague were all touched upon. All i wanted to know was what went on in the dungeon. I have no clue if it was even ever a real function dungeon. Never go there...ever. If you're ever in Paris DO go to the Catacombes. They were amazing, 1000's upon 1000's of skulls and bones everywhere.... amazing.
Now, I am no goth so let me get to the rest of the weekend.
I happened upon Trafalgar square and was smack dab in the middle of a rally against racism. Cool. There were loads of socialists everywhere. They were handing out panphlets, all wearing "Fuck Bush" t-shirts. It was cool stuff. There was a 3 legged wandering dog abouts who got up on a guy sitting on a small wall, cocked his little stump where a leg used to be and proceeded to piss all over the dude. It was hilarious. The guy was so calm, didnt say a word. He just got up, wiped the piss off of his back and walked away. Classic.
Also, Pete Doherty from the Libertines/Babyshambles played an acoustic set for the rally which was pretty awesome. He did some Libs songs a Babyshambles tune and a cover of "Guns of Brixton" by The Clash. Very awesome. All in all an interesting good weekend.
