Not the only, but the definetely 1-st model here, who mean a lot for me, is Nixon. I can remember it very well. When I was 18, 10 years ago, I discovered SG. And I was fascinated by this personality. Nixon was adult, gothic, bold and brave woman with personal style and elegance, and all of that certainly really shaken up the imagination of a young bisexual virgin I was. You know how it happens if you are a bi (seriously bi, not bi-curious) or a lesbi girl. It might not be the type men like the best, but for us, girls... Our sexuality is different. We don't need young, we don't need cute. Personally I need dramatic. So I became a fan.
Her big blue eyes like stared into the depth of the soul. All her sets were dark, uneasy, unforgettable, with a lot of details, stuff, and always telling a story, and yet often humorous. She used a lot of weird stuff in her sets, including skeletons. Used a lot of make-up and even face-paint. Scrathes, fake blood, smoke and fog, instruments. Horror-movies characters. She played with medical themes and creepy stuff. She laughed at fears. Like fear of medical interactions, diseases, and even death. She laughed at porn. She showed sarcasm about standards.
I am even afraid to ask, where are now all those people who gave 5000 likes to her set Necropsy. Maybe they left SG long ago... But I came, her "student". But when nowadays you try to do something like she did in 2006... It doesn't go well. Maybe that's exactly why - it was already done! But... You know what they say, all art repeats itself. Just because the story of the art is SO long. Everybody is always influenced and inspired by somebody who was before. Art revives again and again, like a phoenix from the ashes. It is the circle of life and creation. We must remember and honor those who influenced us, instead of pretending our art is ours alone. And I hope, @nixon is fine! She made latest post 1.5 years ago. Unfortunately, I can't find her in insta or anywhere else.
