Finally. I finally cried for the first time in....shit...since...well, I dunno, granny's funeral. I needed it. I was watching Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii. The history of the arena they played in, and the number of lives that were lost in that city due to the volcano. Hell, not to mention the number of lives lost in the arena from gladiator fights, slave vs wild boars, or slave vs bear...unreal. Anyway, during A saucerful of secrets, Roger Waters starts hammering away on this huge gong, and the musical crescendo becomes overwhelming. The camera shots combined with the music, the history...it was too fucking much. BTW, I've seen this a million times, and it just grabbed me today. In fact, I feel like moving overseas. I don't think I want to live here anymore.
