the members of kraftwerk were musical visionaries for their time, but by the time i heard them they were already long gone.
they were playing back hi-tech computerized music in 1974. that is a feat in and of itself, but i heard them after hearing bands that they influenced and inspired like new order who mastered that sound in the 80's, which spoiled me.
i think for me the new bands had already taken kraftwerk's ideas and sounds and refined them to the point of making kraftwerk's sound somehow seem dated, but in reality they are the fathers of both 80s synth pop and 90's electronica...so they rule.

i'll put it this way, Non-Phixion belives the C.I.A. is trying to kill them like Necro deals in "White Slavery" and "Dead Body Disposal" which is to say in song only. I seriously avoided them at first too, but after I realized that they werent really looking out thier windows every 5 seconds i started to enjoy them. And "The Future is Now" is one of the best hip-hop albums of the last few years. give it a shot.

You know what is kinda funny. There is this family across from my grandmas house who just recently bought a puppy and a turtle for their chillen. I was just over there about a week & 1/2 ago semi chatting with the dad. He told me the little Beagle puppies name was lilo and turtles name was stitch. I didn't see the turtle but the puppy was out there on its' leash. So fuckin cute. But yeah, I kinda recognised the names.
