oh my fucking god...
i ended up reorganizing my whole living room in search for my apache 45, and guess what... i still haven't found the fucking thing.
and now i'm listening to dj 3rd rail's show on the radio. for some reason, more people than normal are listening via realplayer, and i hopped into the mix like 3 seconds too late, and know i'm being blackballed. ahhhhh. so, this is like the best fucking show he's spinning tonight. he's spinning his little rarity show. fuck, i wish my realplayer were werking. i mean, it's cool, at least i can still record it onto tape (ha ha, that's like a horrible joke to me at this point.) so i don't have to miss out on it. it sounds sooooo horrible; the reception is crap. bleh.
WHOA! speaking of the devil, he just IMed me... aren't you supposed to be spinning, mr dj? ok, i must go divert my attention elsewhere now.

I'm jesting a bit, im sure if you heard me talk you would be like "omg you have the most architypeal British voice/mannerism" but 'debutant' level still happens but only among the gentry and even then it's dieing out. That said the older i get the more i play upto it, there is a fantastic magazine called 'The Chap' in which it describes the modern world through the eyes of a member of the British Empire. Hard to say whether it is tounge in cheek, but it provides grooming/dress tips, etiquette at all things (the section on Cricket is most enlightening as to how a gentleman should behave in a sporting event) and above all what it is to be British (needless to say its quite amusing in places).

English street phrases are pretty useless .. apart from Cockney rhymeing slang (apples n pears - stairs .. Sweeney Todd - Flying Squad (our SWAT) etc) there ain't many you don't have (i think). The only one i can think of off hand is 'Safe' = cool/ok a lot of people use that. I will think of some more once this hang over has gone smile.
