have you heard of eckhart tolle? he teaches about the same stuff you were talking about.... presence. he is completely awesome. he talks about how most people can't ever stop thinking, and how people dwell in the past, or look forward to the future without ever being fully present. it's really good shit.... i only wish i could follow the stuff he says better. i know what you mean... sometimes it's hard not to get stuck in the past or the future. i guess all you can do is concentrate on the present moment.
