so in my brain storming for my "religion in politics" writing, an amazing realization has occured with me....
religion is the root of all evil deeds.
i cannot remain in the religious stance i once stated, as a general christian, supporting a religion by mere name that i cannot stand at all.
theist will be the official claim for me. there is a god that is the source of all life who is above yet present in this world. there is no He, there is no trinity. there is no God, but a god.
there is no God's will and to claim such is the absence of understanding.
if we pray before we go into battle, pray to God to protect us while our enemies pray to Allah (which means God in Arabic, therefore is the same) for our destruction, which side wins?
neither.
any war that involves God in any tongue on either side of the fight..... is a war without victory. only suffering.
as me and nelson used to say "you go ahead and rely on god for protection, ill rely on my .50 cal and the million dollars worth of armor and training."

well ive always had a problem with organized religion i have just never really related its evils with the present time
