So I had a pretty good weekend. I actually went shopping Saturday and bought some new clothes for myself. I picked up the new Dane Cook cd also, its pretty funny.
Sunday, I went to St Louis with a friend of mine to see the Alkaline Trio show. We drove 5 hours to get there just in time for the start of the show. I got to see Death By Stereo and Mike Park play before Alkaline Trio came on. I was glad I got to see Mike Park play, I didn't even know that he was going to be at the show. Trio put on a great show. They played a good mix of old and new songs. We drove straight back home that night and didn't get in until about 5AM.
Monday I got some laundry and cleaning done during the day. That night I took one of my best friends, Mike, out for a couple of drinks. I wanted to hang out with him since he is leaving tomorrow to move to Las Vegas. He just graduated culinary school and got a job working in a restaurant in one of the casinos. Its pretty weird to see him moving so far away. I'm glad I got to see him before he left though, I haven't hung out with him in a while.
Almost forgot, I've been thinking about getting rid of my car and getting something else. One of my friends offered to trade me my Talon for a VW Golf that he has. Its a pretty sweet car and it actually has air conditioning unlike my car. I am seriously considering this trade.

The particular episode that inspired last night's outpouring of devotion involved Stewie saying, "I know what it takes to be cool" and then mentally flashing to a vision of himself performing William Shatner's version of "Rocket Man." God, I almost died laughing.
