Exerpt from my Alaskian bike trip journal
June 22
Today I found out that it is actually the 22nd thanks to a conversation that involved myself, Steven, a waitress and the table beside me.
Following work I met up with Steven to get materials for the trip at MEC. Afterwards we had a delicious lunch/dinner across the street at a burger bar. We parted ways and I walked on to St. Johns to pick up our first-aid kit. It was really affordable.
Oh, and I need to remember to shower.
The rest of the day was as follows:
-Got home,
-Got invited to Lukes for a BBQ,
-Got to Lukes after several hours of wacky bus adventures,
-Talked to Maija on the phone
-Went home
-Watched snakes on a plane in Mute with Rein.
Interesting thing about watching Snakes on a Plane in mute; you notice things you wouldn't have otherwise. In one scene S.jackson throws snakes into a microwave, hovers his finger past the popcorn and pizza buttons and presses the Snake button.
