Never say "What's the worst thing that can happen"... Why you ask.. Because 20 min after I said it we lost Patience. Yes my bird is gone. I let him out of his cage in the car.... Not paying attention at a gas station in Mtn Home ID he flew out the passenger window when I was talking to my Mom. 3hrs of chasing him through a field and a saw mill we had to call it quits... He wasn't coming back 
I had him for almost 7 yrs.. FML!! I'm so stressed out about losing him.. But he had plenty of opportunity to come back to me.. Nature called and he listened I guess. So he now resides at a saw mill.. If he can survive I hope someone finds him in the next few days otherwise he may be a meal for an owl
Other than that we are now up in Washington. I have some house hunting to do this week.. fingers crossed.

I recommend the Yelm/Roy/McKenna area. The commute to base is easy and it is a nice laid back area.
