I was warned today by my counselor that I might get barred to reenlistment by my command as an attempt to "kick my ass into gear." As if telling me "you're depressed, so to help you out, we are punishing you" would help me if I were actually interested in staying in but was still depressed.
I was also told to try to keep a running record to show how I function throughout the day as evidence that I'm not malingering. Working on transcribing blog entries into my journal to provide evidence that I'm up and down like I say I am, then will continue with keeping more regular updates.
Somehow I don't think this will get me out of deployment early, but it might still get me out of the army early.
