Score. I nailed a totally sweet Baltan toy on eBay today. Squeeze his legs and his arms go UP! Apparently he's from some obscure Ultraman show in the mid-90's that featured everyone as PUPPETS! How rad is THAT? I need to find videos of this... Unfortunetly, my obsessive compulsive love for Baltan may be my own undoing. Stupid Japan has decided on making like 5 totally AWESOME Baltan figures that are required for existence and of course they are all far too much money. Far, far too much. Someone should tell those jerks that action figures should not be $50 on a regular basis! I understand that $50 is acceptible for ultra huge super sweet figures, but not EVERY figure has to be $50+. I'm happy with $6, myself.

On an entirely unrelated note, I am now going to be an aspiring comic drawer/writer/doer. I go to the good ol' U of Pissburgh, and their newspaper generally has "comics." Now when I say comics, you most likely conjure up images of little strips of pictures that tell a story or funny joke. Far from. These "comics" invariably attempt to make some sort of "hilarious" comment on college life (whatever that is...I think it involves going to Starbucks and reading books with no pictures while trying to look erudite), either that or they come up with some inane non-sequitur surrealistic crapheap (the one strip simply has a clam staring at things. Clams do not have eyes. This has been the theme of this twice weekly strip for the last THREE MONTHS). However, they have posted a need for new comics. I can produce better comics than these. Much better. Thus, I shall woo them with my new wunderkid...CTHULHU ACTION NINJA SQUAD. See, its about Cthulhu having a squad of ninjas who engage in action. The first strip has them stopping Zombie Chairman Mao Zedong from enacting Operation Cultural Revolution 2: Electric Boogaloo. It beats some girl making "hilarious" comments about having to do her own laundry and how unbelievably hard that is (I've only been doing it since I was 10).

thanks man. i be alright, it's prolly nothing.

when i was in Madrid i passed a toy store that had 12 inch action figures of World War II Waffen SS soldiers, Hermann Goering, AND Adolf Hitler.
with staff car.

now the Nazis were evil evil evil. no denying that, but c'mon!! too bad the cheapest private was still $70.

Cthulu Action Ninja Squad....i like the sound of that.
