Well now.... Been fun the last few days. The weather has been great, and lots of time has been spent outside. Erin's friend Laura arrived safely on Thursday and is doing well. Seems to be having a good time during her stay with us so far. We've done a few things around here... Not too much yet, just relaxing and enjoying the sun, having a few drinks and kicking back by the kiddie pool in the backyard. We are all getting tattoos on Thursday, and spending a night downtown. Looking forward to that... Been too long since the last inking.

We'll be heading off to Wonderland next Saturday just before Laura heads back home. She's never been. That'll be fun. I love roller coasters.

It's so damn quiet here right now... Other than the 3 of us, everyone else who takes up residence here has gone on vacation... Nice to have the place for a bit. I can now walk around the house in my underwear for a couple of weeks. It's great. The vacation that my folks are taking with the kids is as much a vacation for us as it is for them. We were only able to get a few extra days off from work while Laura is here, but it's great just the same.

Yesterday, when we were sitting by the pool, I looked around and realized that I was sitting with two foxy chicks dressed in bikinis, drinking a cold beer, my bills are caugt up for the month, everyone is doing well, and I don't have to go into work today.... Life is kind... For the moment anyway... I'll take it.
