Thank you for that nugget of joy Drakonos... It's a motto I can actually live by.

I'm really bummed out that I'm going to a sweet ass halloween party with some good friends and I don't have the cash to buy a cool costume. I love dressing up, this sucks ass.

My little brother is getting married this weekend. I'm really happy for him, but kinda bummed at the same time. A guy at my work said it well...

"My brother is getting married tomorrow, I'm kinda upset." ~me
"Why are you upset, marriage is a good thing, right?"~co-worker
"Yes, but it is my LITTLE brother"~me
"So you don't like what it says about you"~co-worker
"more than you know"~me

that's all... be nice to me... i feel like i deserve something. ARRR!!!

Hey, don't get down on your self about the wedding. My little brother will probably get married before me too. I don't think marriage makes the person, I mean you don't want to rush into anything and then be unhappy. so don't be too hard on yourself.
Now the costume thing, that does kinda suck a bit. Last year my roommate didn't have money for a costume so she put something together by borrowing different things.......actually worked out pretty well but it wasn't nesessarily a "cool" costume it just worked. Probably not too encouraging....sorry, not having the best weekend so far.
Anyway, hope your's is better then mine and good luck with the party and all!
