I'm torn between two jobs. I have an amazing opportunity to work at a local piercing shop, where they'll train me and eventually will get me an apprenticeship.
HOWEVER...
I can't work my other job, which pays 60 cents more an hour. I really like it there, and have been there for over 6 months. I'm probably one of the best employees there, and I'd be letting my coworkers down, because they really count on me. I'm very passionate about my work there, and have made great friends there. They give raises every 6 months. I'm due for another one in February. I work there full-time- 40 hours a week. It's frustrating. I'll be taking a 10-20 hour cut at the new place, but I really think it would be worth it.
