My poorly streched ears are on the mend....

the worst think that can happen (at least the worst that I've experenced) with inserting larger plugs, is when the swelling of the ear lobes causes the ear to extend over the lip of the plug.... this will without doubt result in a nasty nasty infection....

this happend to me last night....

at a loss of what to do, having no other plugs of a longer length to replace with the insufficent ones, I inserted syringe barrels (that's the tube part of a hypodermic) into my ears....

a perfect solution, actually.... the come pre-sterilized... they're made of inert plastic, and they are more than long enough to provide my angry infected ears to swell to their heartless content....

I felt a little odd going to the supermarket with 5/8th" syringes stabbed through my ear holes.... but ultimitely, I think it's pretty funny..... nobody has commented on it as of yet.....

I imagine that the code of silence will be lifted once I show up at martial arts class though....

Maybe I'll take a couple pictures as a document of the folly of poor piercing managment.... if I get around to it, I'll post one or two....
