In a continuing effort to stave off the rather persistent ennui I've been experiencing I've been trying to update here more. @rambo and the other delightful members of the staff have decided to start a suicidegirls playlist homework. The playlist prompt this week asks us what our favorite songs are. Seeing as how I'm a musician picking only five will be difficult. I mean, I can't be the only one whose favorite songs change with their mood! However, here it goes:
1. 'I Melt With You' Modern English
2. 'Atlantic City' Bruce Springsteen
As a born an bred Jersey girl I clearly can't leave The Boss off this list. Seriously.
3. 'Red Right Hand' Nick Cave
I actually plan on getting some lyrics from this song tattooed on me. Also, for some reason this song makes me feel incredibly sexy.
4. 'Nowhere Again' Secret Machines
Although this song can be incredibly difficult for me to listen to as it reminds me of a very tumultuous, painful, yet manic and joyous part of my life it's still one of my favorites.
