I feel I haven't properly updated in a little while. A lot has been going on.
Forrest moved to a new house, and by default I did, too. Things with him are going swimmingly well. I have never met someone who so wholly accepts me for the incredibly flawed person I am. In past relationships there were always conditions I had to meet if I wanted to be loved. I had to make a certain amount of money. I couldn't have panic attacks. I had to look a certain way. I had to be the right amount of crazy to be fun, but not too crazy. In past relationships I couldn't do the kinds of photo shoots I like doing because they were too risque or downright pornographic.
I still get scared that one day I will wake up and there will be an 'I love you, but...'
However, I don't think that will happen. It's been my experience that the terms and conditions of a relationship are usually laid out within the first few dates, like some dirty sort of contract.
In other words, I won't let this one go. Not without a fight anyway.
And you know what? I accept him for exactly who he is. It's my philosophy that you love and accept someone for who they are, or you don't and you can walk away. One should never enter a friendship or relationship and expect the other person to eventually change into the person you want them to be.
Anyway, over Christmas my old phone took a massive shit and stopped working. Luckily, my brother was due for an upgrade, so I got his old iphone. I've been playing with the camera on it a bit, as it's sooo much better than my old phone. Behold! Evidence!
Note the Venture Brothers sheets. I'm definitely stoked about the season 6 premiere on the 19th.
Oh, I'll be venturing up to New England this weekend to deliver some puppies. Hopefully, I'll get to meet up with @ameline and @dmaggot at some point while I'm there!
