I'm looking for interesting members to follow. You know, members who blog and not just post pictures. The pictures get a bit monotonous. In fact, in order not to add to this monotony I decided to disconnect my IG from here. If you want to see what I post on Instagram you can follow me there! How about that? Hmm? I'm pet sitting this weekend so that prohibits my ability to really go out and paint the town red. Tonight, I'm staying in with Dr. Who, my cat, and one of my fosters. It's both sad and adorable that this particular foster dog, who I call Phoebe, doesn't know how to be a pet. She skulks around my room as if she's doing something wrong simply by existing . I have her on the bed with me at the moment. She seems utterly confused, yet comfortable at the same time.
We saved 7 more dogs and puppies today. They were on the urgent list at the shelter and we couldn't say no! They all have rescues committed to finding them homes so they're definitely on their way to becoming loyal, loving companions to some lucky families out there. For those of you just tuning in, I work in animal rescue. The American South has a huge pet overpopulation problem because people seem to be adverse to spaying and neutering their pets. My organization goes into poor communities and helps people get their pets altered and we pull adoptable dogs and puppies from high kill shelters.
We pulled this lovely lady and her four adorable puppies. I love the look on her face!
In other news: I rejoined Ok Cupid. In the words basic bitches everywhere, "I literally can't even..."
