Sometimes I feel like getting red wine drunk and watching 'The Crow". There's just something about re-living my nineties goth girl days that is so appealing.
Unfortunately, that won't be happening tonight. Alas, I have work tomorrow.
So, after nine years of e-friendship, I finally got to meet @schiavona in the flesh. Let's just say, he and his wife are both very amazing people. They're the kind of people that have the power to restore your faith in humanity. We had a great dinner here in Charlotte at a restaurant near my work. I'm so glad they decided to stop by and hang out with me. It is the highlight of my week! You know, there are some people you meet online and get along famously with, but once you meet them in person the conversation becomes awkward and stunted, as if you already ran out of things to talk about. @schiavona is not one of those people. He's just so genuine and lovely to speak with. He's a real gem of a human being.
Anyway...
Here are some pictures. Because, you know, why the hell not?
I just ate some sushi and green tea ice cream. You can see my food baby!!!
