On days like today, when not much is going on, I like to take my time with everything. I stay in bed wrapped in my blankets snuggling my cat and going through the news on my phone. When I do get out of bed, I make tea using the old fashioned kettle and enjoy every sip I take. After my run, I take a shower and lay about naked for a while and leisurely browse Reddit or what have you. Also, I take copious amounts of pictures of myself. I guess taking 'selfies' is my way of indulging my egotistic self obsessed side without being overly obnoxious about it. Most of the pictures I take get deleted. But I've decided to grace you all with the preceding two.
(I sleep with a heating pad at my feet at night since it's been rather chilly here. The remote you see in the background of the picture above is the remote to the heating pad. I felt I had to explain that so you didn't get any pervy ideas or what have you.)
Good news in Iggy world: Yesterday, I took the first step in acquiring an occupation that could be considered a 'career'. I've resisted having a 'career' because I never wanted to be one of those people stuck in some office until 8 pm every night just so people above me could make a bit more money. Until now, I've just kind of lived life, if that makes any sense. But I've found something I would enjoy doing that involves spending most of my time with dogs, so I am going for it. It won't make me a ton of money, but I have never been into money or wealth, so it's okay.
Anyway, my friends on Facebook constantly post 'throwback Thursday' pictures. Unfortunately, most of the pictures I have on my computer that I could post violate FB's decency rules, so I'll post a picture for you guys instead. Behold! Iggy in London back in 2004! Back then, I was dating my friend Leon and collected football kits.
See? I was rockin' the half a shaved head thing before everyone else was. When I started seeing all the girls start shaving parts of their heads several years ago my first reaction was, "Pshh, I did that almost ten years ago."
