I did it again. Either I think I am a fat ass or pattern sizes are way off. I scaled down one of my corset patterns recently to the smallest size available and it's still two sizes too big for me. I have a tutorial online for making my own. I think I will try that next. It doesn't seem hard I just need to get the right kind of paper for it. Unless my drawing pad paper is big enough? I shall see tomorrow. I have pictures of my latest creation, but for the life of me I can't find them. You shall all have to wait.
I made a kick ass yellow cake the other day. No. I didn't make a bomb from uranium. Just the traditional type yellow cake. It was delicious.
i was watching the news earlier and they had on a special about the FLDS children that were taken away by the state of Texas last spring and then subsequently given back on the grounds that there was not enough evidence to take them in the first place. Some of the male members of the sect are still in court over bigamy charges. I think that's bullshit. I think polygamy should be legal. I think that if consenting adults agree to be in that sort of arrangement then they should be allowed to be. Now the whole marrying under age girls thing is another animal all together, but bigamy is utter nonsense. It's a waste of the courts time and resources.
I don't know of any argument against polygamy that isn't purely about morals that holds any water. One must remember that morals are subjective. Not everyone has the same set or morals. I don't see the need to have laws on the books forbidding polygamy when it really doesn't hurt anyone outside of the people who agree to be in a polygamous arrangement.
I think bigamy laws should go the way of sodomy laws, though the sodomy laws are still on the books here in Alabama. It's actually one of the last states to not have repealed them yet.
I mean, if any of you can offer some sort of coherent argument as to why polygamy should indeed be illegal I am all ears.
