I finished the corset I was making last night. zoomusikgrl was right, it's not as hard as it looks. Of course, I made it a size too big. I tend to do that. Either the sizing chart on the patterns are wrong or I think I am bigger than I am. I used some care bear cloth I got on clearance for my first try.

Anyway, here are some pics:




I am going to take it apart and take the boning and busk out in order to make a nicer one that actually fits me like it should. Right now its fitted to my dress makers dummy. I like looking at it. I like gazing upon what I have accomplished. I never thought I would be able to make something like that.

I also made a skirt which was a bit harder. I seem to always have trouble with zippers.

Take that last statement any way you choose.

I think I made the largest loaf of Challa bread ever baked tonight. I let it proof for a long time and it grew twice the original size. It's fucking tasty. I love Challa bread.

I had this crazy dream last night that I showed up for a photo shoot and all the photographers there were using your average point and shoot type camera. There were also horses in it. It was weird.
