We've been watching the Olympics.
dkmfc has been watching it on television and I have been watching it online. The only sports I am into are the equestrian ones, and they don't give them a lot of air time, but god bless the internet. Now we can all enjoy the obscure and unpopular sports!!
Watching it all makes me really sad though. It makes me realize that I could have done something extraordinary with myself, but instead I pissed away a lot of time, money, and brain cells on drinking and getting high. If only I had had even just a modicum of self confidence where it counted. Believing in yourself when it comes to the various hedonistic arts is not exactly the kind of self confidence that you want to fill yourself with.
Oh well. C'est la vie.
