As of yesterday I am officially a quarter of a century old. Le sigh.

dkmfc got me new boots. They are exactly like my old pair of boots (see my sets to see what the old ones looked like), except new. The old pair was in pretty bad shape (holes, tread worn down to the screws) so they are happy now to be put out to pasture. The mom in law also sent me flowers.

We pretty much took it easy the whole day. We did do some outlet shopping and got some stuff for the baby and I got some Halloween themed underpants. Then we went out for Indian food. I was pleasantly surprised to learn a few weeks ago that there is a pretty good Indian restaurant in Tuscaloosa.

The sky is gray today. I like this. I would like for Autumn to happen soon. I don't think I can take much more of the heat and the sun raping my eyes on a daily basis. If only it would rain for a few days and cool the earth and the pavement down.
