Its nice out. I'm going to the beach.
In other news, I put in my letter of resignation at work. I'm really doing it. I am moving to Alabama. I'm excited about it actually. I tell people Alabama and they look at me cock eyed, head tilted to the side, scratching their scalp with their index finger slowly saying "Alabama?" hesatintly pronouncing every sylable. I explain the situation and then they "sort of" understand. (the whole my boyfriend is in the military and they are transferring him down there thing...)
I have been a life long Jersey girl. Born and raised. I have lived in no other place besides my college years in Westchester, NY. And even then, I went home on weekends and even commuted one year. I was homeless in NYC for a summer. But does that count?
So here I am, getting ready to move to Alabama in June with my lifemate dkmfc.
I think I am ready for a slower paced enviornment anyway. And its MUCH closer to my mom in South Carolina and my Grandpa (who I don't see enough) in Florida.
When I tell many people what I am doing they start to question my relationship. Its true that he and I have been together for only six months, but I love him, and its going so well. So well in fact that I want to marry him and have his babies. And anyone that knows me in the slightest knows that I have been pretty anti-baby for a loooong time.
So yeah, moving to the dirty south.
Ok, now I am going to the beach.
