i am so, so thankful for many, many things.

today, instead of continuing the pattern of dwelling on that which i still desire, i'm taking the time to focus on the many (dare i say it?) blessings. a brief snapshot of a few of them:

i live in the most amazing city.
i get paid to do what i love.
as complicated as my family may be, i love them dearly.
my friends are the most interesting, ambitious (and attractive) people I know... i'm especially thankful for the new ones.
and of course, i have a precious dog that i love, who allows me to take thanksgiving morning photos of her...
