Rusalkka and I spent a lovely afternoon brunching and shopping in Soho. While on our way to obtain the most delicious cappucino treats, we stumbled upon two quite attractive men, one who looked oddly familiar. Why did he look familiar, you ask? Because it was...
GERARD fucking BUTLER.
Now, i'm not one to get star-struck. Didn't flinch much either, mostly just a little giddy. However, it got me thinking...
I am lonely, yes, and i'd like a fellow to have around. The ones I'd like to be with don't like me, and the ones who'd like to be with me...well... i don't know where they are. Something about my relationship methodology is NOT WORKING. (*commence further self-analyzation*)
In the mean time, I fantasize about men in other aesthetically categorized stratospheres, such as Gerard Butler, which make me feel not so bueno about myself. Therefore, new outlandish goal: be attractive enough that dear old Gerry would look twice.
How to accomplish this goal? Ummmm... not sure.
Please do not take this blog as some sort of self-loathing rant. I like who I am, I enjoy spending time with myself, and I have a great, fulfilling life. But I want to work on the out-sidey parts. So, I leave you with an open letter to my new source of inspiration:
Dear Gerry,
Pencil me in for a make-out sesh in a couple of years. Seriously. Let's make this happen.
Love,
Showtime
