i have just returned home from a poetry reading/event featuring many exciting writers, including the ever so lovely and inspiring, Rusalkka.
while i in no way, shape, or form consider myself a writer, i can be found longing, rather consistently, for such abilities. this desire increases exponentially when surrounded by people for whom words dance, words from which i may only inspire fidgeting.
these courageous tellers speak from places which i spend the majority of my time hiding and wrapping in scarves. i admire them like i admire people who are so unapologetically themselves. i so wish i were one of them.
so now that i'm attempting to let go, live, and experience without over analyzation... i think that writing and sharing more should be a part of that process, a necessary reflection upon the life and times of someone i hope you'll find just as interesting as i find you.
i'll probably write you a poem, and maybe, just maybe, you'll ask to hear it.

It's weird the way going to an event like that can inspire you to do more. I'm trying my hand at writing, but so far it's not bearing any fruit. It's a good way of expressing yourself, but frustrating a lot of the time. I'm officially asking to hear your poem
