so, i've been thinking a lot about distance lately.

distance between friends, distance between acquaintances, loved ones, and well...since we're here on SG, people we like to look at naked.

so let's take the term "close friend", for instance: this person could be thousands of miles away, yet you feel an important connection. which hints at distance being a negative thing.

so the problem is, what happens when you want to be close to someone who is so far away? its a problem we've all encountered at some point, i'm sure. but here i am...wondering... what lengths (pun intended) would you go to, in order to overcome the distance?
