Went playing in the mountains today, went 4 wheelin, did some boomstickery and got to hang out with just my best bud. Reminded me why he's my best buddy.

Well, I almost got a day off this week. Gonna try to go and visit podunk next weekend. Need to burn my last vacation day before the end of the month and It sems like one of the buddies wants to get together. never know for sure, cant get ahold of the little wierdo.
Well, wasn't that fun. The repo'd house buisness blew up last week. we did about 35K worth of workorders in a week! I got in fights with the roomate, Worked 18 hours a day all week and then spent the weekend sick as a dog. Had to take 2 days off from the real job because I was dizzy and the railyard is no place...

motorcycles scare me to be quite honest.. I was reminded of this when I had to ride one last night... I don't t like them at all.

I tried Stephen King. I tried Misery, I tried Pet Semetary. I wasn't really into either. Although I was in middle school then and I probably wasn't in the right mindset to get into them, I read them because I was trying to be smart and mature...but I really wasn't.
I'm currently struggling through Cryptonomicon actually. Well, no I'm not "struggling" it's a pretty entertaining read but it's incredibly long- possibly the longest book I've ever read, I think. I only read it while I'm riding the train though which is why it's taking me so long. It's funny because every day when I stop reading I think to myself "I wonder what happens next." and when I go home instead of picking up where I left off I end up watching tv.

This is the first of 2 pets I will be losing this week. My childhood cat is being put down on Friday cause he has cancer too
The difference here is that my hamster was only 2 and my cat is 24 so he doesn't owe the world anything.

Well, the bike will not be running tomorrow. it seems to want to but the carbs dont seem to be putting any fuel into the cylinders . Got spark, and a shot of starting fluid and it wakes right up. I'll tinker some more tommorow night but in the mean time, I'm gonna go play with my BOOMSTICK!!! gotta get sighted in for huinting season...

Oh damn, I just saw the Acerbis headlight assembly you're talking about. Them things is ass ugly!!! Just get a couple 55 watt halogen driving lights! Hook one up to the high beam, one for the low beam, aim them accordingly.

I am thinking about moving back to podunk. I can transfer back with the railroad and not lose my vacation or retirement. It will mean about a twenty five percent increase in standard of living and the girls back home were a lot more fun to go with. plus the folks could use the help.
