2 people I work with are getting married this weekend. Hooray!
I'm not invited. Boo!
To be fair, I didn't expect to be and it doesn't actually bother me. They're both nice people but the bride seems to have developed an irrational dislike of me because I dated one of her bridesmaids several years ago and had the misfortune of being dumped by her. Oh well, no big deal.
The thing is, I kinda want to send a card along with some friend who are going but I'm not sure if I should. I really just want to be nice but based on the way this woman tends to react to me I'm not sure that it's a good idea. And if I do, do I put a check in, and for how much?
The really cool thing is that an old friend is flying in from Holland for the wedding and I'll get to see him at the after-reception-party at another friend's house, so I'm pretty psyched about that.

I will complain about certain aspects of this town sometimes too, but I got mad to hear someone else say it. It's just like when you are venting about a family member and someone agrees with you. You get all offended; they don't have the right to say that even though you were just saying the same thing. You know what I mean?
At any rate, I'm glad you came out for the Roller Derby. A good friend of mine plays for the Sakonnet River Roller Rats.
The next bout will be on October 14th. It will be against Philly - the first inter-city bout for the Providence girls.
