I have a new lucky hat! This Dutch guy I work with gave me an Ajax Amsterdam hat - manufactured by the club, the type the hooligans wear, not some nike crap - and I've made a couple hundred bucks wearing it while playing cards.
It's got this cool crest on the side with these 3 x's he calls the "weapon of Amsterdam," apparently the nickname for the cross-fence things that seperate walkways from roads in the city.
I really can't express how much I enjoy taking someone's money and saying something obnoxious about being smashed by the weapon of Amsterdam...
We're taking the Dutch guy out for his 30th birthday on Friday, and I intend to make sure he forgets how to speak English by the end of the night!
