Well, asked a girl out. First "official" time I've done that since my wife's passing. Immediately got friend-zoned and then had the subject changed, but I suppose it was "progress."

My youngest now has a script for glasses. We'll see how well he actually wears them. He WANTS them, which is a start.

PS: I've commented on this before, but.... where the hell did all...

Definitely progress, even if you got friend-zoned.

Kinda time for a sad moment.

In 2 days it'll be the 2nd anniversary of my wife's passing and the 1st anniversary of my Grandfather's. It's going to be harder because the day after that is my Grandmother's birthday, the day after that would have been my Grandfather's birthday and then on January 9th it would have been my wife's birthday. So not only did...

Well Star Wars: The Old Republic has started allowing Early Access. I haven't gotten my email yet, but that's OK. My Guild and I are going to be on the server Sith Wyrm, should be a lot of fun. Onyx Corp surprised all of us, it was literally me and 5 friends who decided we might as well make our own Guild since they have...

Kind of a blunt man. This is bound to start shit with my in-laws, but I have to be a really honest person.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

Its important to me that the boys know their mothers family. Blythe loved her family very much and I want the boys to know and share that love. I want them to enjoy spending time with their cousins,...

You my love, are a fantastic man. They are silly to not love you the way you deserve... but your out look on it is very mature, and I hope you are able to have a stable and working relationship with the in laws.

A bizarre question occurred to me. It's a stupid question, but it got me wondering. I wondered what type of animal people would describe my personality as.

Most people describe me physically as a bear. I'm rolly polly and furry so it's natural. I'm also 6' tall and 200+ lbs. So its REALLY natural. But I just got to wondering what people would say about...

Since it's been made clear that my sense of humor is unacceptable in the Poly community group, I've left it. I was given a ban threat as it stood anyway, so it was only a matter of time before I got kicked out.

I'm not going to on a rant or anything. I didn't really belong there considering I've been single for 2 year anyway....

I need to rage a bit, but I'm going to put it into a spoiler for the people who don't want to see it. I'm also not sure how long it'll go on because I'm not even sure what I'm going to say until I start writing it.

I'm angry right now. I don't have a specific thing that I'm angry...

I feel almost all of those things with my manic cycles. People in my office now know that if my door is closed, stay the fuck away. Part of the reason for me starting Lithium was me flying into a blinding rage over nothing. The hyper-sexuality that goes with it is really disturbing.
I've realized that women flirting with me aren't actually interested, or at least that is the way I'm treating it. The game is fun, but I don't put any faith in it. I think if anything ever actually becomes of it, I might have a heart attack.

Don't worry. You're not the only one.

I'm such a geek.

So friends and I have been getting pretty excited about Star Wars: The Old Republic. To the point where we've started a pre-launch Guild. Onyx Corp which is Empire Faction. It's basically just me and a bunch of friends. Right now it's PvE oriented and is pretty casual. We're all from the Syracuse area of NY.

It's just amusing me. If...

I almost got sucked in by the link because it was Star Wars. As it is, my consoles get no action because the little time I'd have for gaming after the girls go to bed, I'd rather spend that time with khoos. Plopping money down for this would just be pissing money away.

I think the only thing that would be as awesome to khoos as a regular D&D game would be a Harry Potter TCG game. You guys should figure out how to set it up with Skype so she can play D&D remotely.

Been working on a forum to start up for people. The link is ultimately going to be http://www.rpgmemories.com but for now that's not active and it's under RPG Forum and I'm hoping it'll be considered a place where gamers of all sorts can come and talk about the stuff they enjoy talking about. It's a totally free forum and I pick up the tab on...

This semester was pretty hard. I was taking 17th Century Poetry (Sex, Death & Salvation) Post Secular / Post Modern Sacred literature and The Works of William Blake.

Unfortunately my 17th century professor, a John Donne scholar decided to use her course as a soap box to spend the entire class preaching about the superiority of the 17th century Christian faith and philosophy over our...
